Description
These mecate reins, also referred to as Horseman's reins are made from high quality Tuff Tack 12mm diameter yachting braid on braid rope that is smooth and resistant to sweat. The mecate reins attach to the bit with slobber straps (rein leathers).
The reins can easily be shortened or lengthened according to purpose. The lead rope (get down rope) can be lengthened up to 22ft or fully extended to the loop to make ground driving reins. There is a leather popper attached to the end of the reins.
NOTE: the slobber straps (rein leathers) are NOT included, however can be purchased separately.
